Just about one year ago, the industry saw a dramatic shift in who was chartering a private aircraft. For years, a majority of our customers were using private aircraft to turn two-day business trips into one. Briefcases were the norm and it was rare for the luggage compartment to be full. Flash forward 11 months and now one of the most common questions asked is “how much luggage can we bring with us?” Priester, like many other operators, are seeing the biggest growth opportunity in helping families travel safely between their summer and winter homes or to that much needed vacation.
With 2020 behind us, what can we expect in 2021 for corporate aviation?

Illegal charter has quickly become a hot topic in the private aviation world. The topic, while not new, has recently gained the attention of regulators because of the proliferation of start-up businesses trying to emulate UBER but on private jets. The FAA rightly holds that the complexities of corporate aviation pose vastly different safety and security concerns compared to ground transportation, and trying to employ/develop an UBER or flight sharing model can place the buying public at risk.
Let's Talk About the World of Private Aviation
In the world of private aviation, your clients will likely make many changes over the course of their aviation journey. We call it your FlightPath. It's wise to map this trend and review the findings with an aviation professional to assess every point of change. By having an overview of your client's needs, it makes the many options available much easier to understand and find the best solution to suit their unique situation - not how to fit your needs into one limited product.
Priester Aviation, LLC has been named a finalist in two “Best in the Industry” awards hosted by The Family Wealth Alliance, in the categories for both Outsource Solution/Provider and The Client Experience.
