Stacey’s Tips for Traveling during COVID-19

When planning to travel you should consider and look at the following:

  • Does your destination have requirements or restrictions for travelers? This is important if you need to be quarantined upon arrival at destination or leaving the destination back home.
  • Do you or anyone you may be traveling with at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19?  If you are traveling with someone or yourself is at a higher risk, you may want to reconsider as there is a higher exposure of getting COVID or COVID related illness while traveling.
  • Always wear a mask. Masks are not only for you but for those around you to prevent them from something you may have.
  • Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. If you can’t wash your hands, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Stay at least 6 feet apart even when wearing a mask.

What should clients look for?

  • If you are flying, always make that there is PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) available for you. That includes, mask, and hand sanitizer.
  • You should also be aware if you are traveling with anyone who doesn’t feel well, or may have any symptoms (such as fever, chills, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or flu like symptoms), they may want to reconsider traveling and get tested.
  • Updated information will be passed onto our clients as it becomes available regarding COVID-19.
