Effective January 26, 2021, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an Order requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving from a foreign country to the US.  All passengers above the age of 2 years old will need to provide this documentation. 

Things You Need to Know

If providing a negative test result: 

• Negative test must be from within three (3) days prior to flight’s departure to the United States.
• Must be a viral test - standard PCR or Antigen (Rapid) test.
• Name and date of birth of passenger match on both the negative test result and passport or other travel documents.

If providing documentation of recovery from COVID-19: 

• Passengers must provide a "documentation of recovery" - A letter from medical professional stating that the passenger has been cleared for travel in addition to proof of positive test result.
• Positive test result must be from within three months (90 days) prior to the flight’s departure to the United States.
• Name and date of birth of passenger match on both the positive test result and passport or other travel documents.

If passengers have received COVID-19 vaccine:

• At this time, all air passengers traveling to the US, regardless of vaccination or antibody status, are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result.
